The Amazon.com Instant Video team is looking for a smart, motivated, and results-oriented software development manager to join the team. We are a high-energy and innovative group changing the way customers watch TV and movies.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
2. Excellent coding skills in Java, C++, C#, or Ruby
3. Working knowledge of object-oriented design and programming
4. Strong problem solving and analytical skills
5. Clear, concise written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Working knowledge of REST and RPC service patterns and other client/server interaction models
2. Working knowledge of common Internet technologies (e.g. HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX)
3. Fluency in programming languages beyond Java and C++ (e.g. Ruby, Python, Perl)
4. Experience building standalone applications on developer platforms (e.g. Yahoo!, Android, iOS)
5. Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
