Responsibilities and Pre-Requisites:
Aspire Systems, Inc. has an opening for a Quality Assurance Engineer in Lynnwood, Washington. The QA Engineer will be based at our customer’s offices, but will work under the direct control and supervision of Aspire Systems at all times. The QA Engineer will work with Aspire’s customer to design, develop and test highly customized software products using proprietary programs and processes developed by our company.
The specific responsibilities for this position will include: defining test automation framework based on project needs;implementation of Test Automation Framework for the project;performing feasibility analysis on the test scenarios;defining test data for automation scripts; developing Test Automation scripts for the approved test cases; scheduling scripts for execution and analyzing the test results;preparing automation test plans and tracking; project planning, resource planning and necessary training plan for new team members;project estimation and scheduling; proactively working on growing the account if any business opportunity comes up from the customer; analyzing the product requirements and define the test requirements;review of Test Scenarios/Test cases and Test results; review of bugs reported by the team;providing guidance to develop the test scenarios / test cases to team members; working along with product management team for requirements understanding;requirements gathering and analysis with respect to business as well as technical perspective;ensuring that the scope and quality of the project meets customer expectations; planning, execution and tracking of offshore activities; technical calls with sales leads; participation in RFI and RFP preparation;analyzing leads generated by the sales team.
